WIPP Announces Winners of Inaugural Regional Science Bowl

U.S. Department of Energy Carlsbad Field Office (CBFO) and Salado Isolation Mining Contractors (SIMCO)
WHAT:
The CBFO and SIMCO will conduct an in-person and virtual pre-submittal meeting to provide information on the following planned Class 2 Permit Modification Requests (PMRs) for the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) Hazardous Waste Facility Permit:
- Addition of Four New Shielded Containers
- Revise Site Certification Audit Scheduling from Annual to Graded Approach
The purpose of this pre-submittal meeting is to provide information pertaining to planned Class 2 PMRs. Questions and comments outside the scope of these PMRs should be directed to the WIPP Community Forum.
